What is Wirecost ?

An online free classified adverts platform for wire and cable item buying and direct contact with sellers. On our free classified platform, you add no cost to connecting to your buyer or seller. The service provided  in banner and advert placement if free, easy to use and fast to make your sales.

 

Am I required to submit financial details when opening an account?

We do not ask for your bank account or credit cards when opening an account. Payment for buying and selling made through the platform is processed by accredited and secured third party digital payment businesses like Paypal, Stripe, Mastercards. We do not store your financial details.

 

What is Wire-tight buyer protection policy?

Wirecost Classified Advertisement operates a process of witholding partial or full payment made by the buyer or seller to cover or the acquisition of an item or service on our platform.  This is to guarantee that the party making the payment receive the value or item which the payment has been made for. And to allow time for any dispute resolving between the buyer and seller.  After the payment made, and positive feedback given, the  wire-tight icon will be released and the money will be sent to the seller. The seller is given 3 days window for any resolution case.

 

Do you apply fee  to wire-tight payment I  made?

When an item is sold and payment is made via Wirecost payment gateway, the wire-tight payment will be triggered to guarantee refund in case transaction goes wrong. And the payment will be held for between 1-3 business days, depending on how soon the buyer's feedback is received.  And for each payment protection triggered, there is a payment security fee of £1 applicable. And both the buyer and seller earn points that they can redeem for monetary or to acquire services on the platform. 

 

Do I get back the payment security fee if the transaction is imcomplete and payment have to be refunded?

Yes. Both the payment made towards the acquisition of the  item or servcie and the £1 wire-tight policy fee applied will be refunded. The point you eaned by completing the failed transaction through Wirecost payment gateway will not be removed but you will be able to use them after your next successful transaction.

 

What if there is disagreement between the buyer and seller?

The seller will be allowed 3 working days to sort out and dispute with the buyer of the item. After that, if issue unresolved we will contact both the buyer and seller to know the status of agreement between the party and understand the nature of the disagreement then make the refund as appropriate. But the buyer will ensure any item or service received will be accounted for as already return to seller in the case of dissatisfaction. After the seller receive the item back with satisfaction, the rest of the  payment will be released to the buyer.

 

 When does payment for my sold item get to my account?

This is as soon as the transaction is complete. The money normally takes 3 business days. When the buyer gives the satisfactory feedback on the item package received, our wire-tight payment withholding to protect and ensure parties in the buying and selling through the platform are protected and guarantee payment in case of incomplete or dissatisfaction.

 

How do I place my item advert on Wirecost?

You can do this by clicking on post an ad button on the homepage. You will be required to sign up and register to be able to login and use the platform to buy and sell your item or service.

 

How does the buying and selling works?

Visiting the platform to buy and sell requires you to register and open a profile account. Then you can place item adverts or browse listed item including contacts of the seller. A saleable item can be acquired either through bidding or directly agreeing on the given price. This will be specified in the advert and descriptions. As a buyer agrees the trading, and make payment for the item on the platform, the item is watermark sold, payment made is witheld until buyer receive courier details for the remittance of item  and eventually the item in accordance to its description in the advert. Money is released to the seller when item received by the buyer and positive feedback is given. And your point is awarded.

 

What is the monetary worth of Wirecost point?

A point worth 1p means 100point equaivalents 1 of your local currency(£1, $1, €1).

 

How many points do earn for completing my trasaction paying via Wirecostpayment gateway?

It depends on the money involve in the transaction. For every 10, you earn 5p. For example, a payment amount of £100 will have earned you redeemable point of 50. 

 

How do I earn points?

You earn point by completing a transaction via Wirecost payment gateway. Using the service of our partners for delivery and other items  will earn you points, downloading  and use our App and that of our partners on your mobile device. We have logistic and low-cost delivery partner, called PEQAPP that is effective to deliver your package  safely and fast.

 

Is it free to place banner advert on the platform?

We run a  cost-effective and affordable, higher traffic generation banner advert service. This is one of the services provided by Wirecost. See our subscription or contact for more details on banner placement.

 

What can I redeem with my point earned?

The point you earn can be redeemed in many ways; you can use to extend your listed adverts duration or expiration. It can be used towards completing an item purchased. If you are an ecommerce business, you can used it to obtain free delivery and/ or our partners' services including banner adverts or extension of promotions materials agreement on Wirecost.
